Mahonia repens
I took this picture of an Oregon Grape (Mahonia repens) with its holly-like leaves and distinctive yellow blossoms during a recent trip to Durango. This plant will bear sour but edible fruit later in the season which resemble but are not related to grapes.

Thought I would post a shot I took on my first adventure with a macro lens. This was really the only good shot I got since it was breezy and I didn’t have a tripod. Made getting the focus right quite a challenge.
