This blog is intended to be an exploration. Of nature, self and purpose. I am indebted to Parker J. Palmer for the name of this blog. His book of this title borrows the phrase “Let your life speak” from a Quaker saying. So I suppose I am indebted to the Quakers as well.
In it Palmer writes:
“Vocation does not come from willfulness, It comes from listening. I must listen to my life and try to understand what it is truly about– quite apart from what I would like it to be about–or my life will never represent anything real in the world, no matter how earnest my intentions.”
ThisĀ weblog represents my efforts at listening for the calling that is the purpose of my life.
I hope you enjoy.

“When Nature has work to be done, she creates a genius to do it.”
